Art enthusiasts who call suburban Chicago home will be pleased to learn about the Vogt Visual Arts Center (VVAC). Located at 17420 S 67th Court in Tinley Park, this facility is housed in a beautiful historic building that was once the residence of Tinley Park’s first mayor. Inside, visitors can find a gallery that always has works of art done by local and well-known artists on display. The gallery is open to all year round, but hours do vary depending on the time of year. Visits outside of gallery hours can often be accommodated, so feel free to call and inquire. All who call suburban Chicago home are invited to check out the gallery. Shows change every month or so and guests can view open shows based on themes, school shows, photography, and many other topics.
In addition to coming to view artwork, Tinley Park real estate owners are also invited to consider holding a birthday party for their child at the VVAC. The child of honor gets to choose the projects they and their guests will create. The art center staff will take care of everything, making it super easy on the parents. In addition to birthday parties, those who live nearby can also take advantage of classes offered at the VVAC. Learn more about oil painting, watercolors, stained glass, and many more styles.
